Heavy Amber, is a heavy psychedelic rock trio, with mind altering, spirit wrenching ability, evoking empowerment through means of experimentation.
Juxtaposing ethereal and psychedelic harmonies with fuzzed out guitar, and driving bass and drums, Heavy Amber bring feminine power to the forefront of their message and music. Reflecting the ethos of 70’s psychedelic and progressive rock, Heavy Amber’s song writing is intentionally unique, layered in poetry and almost orchestral in approach to composition.
Despite being yet to release any music, Heavy Amber has played some of Australia’s most well known venues and festivals including supporting The Stranglers on their Australian tour, and entertaining thousands at St Kilda Fest in Melbourne. The band is currently working on their debut album, which is sure to stake their place amongst the world platform of psychedelic music.
Members consist of Kasinda Faase (guitars/vox), Sienna Laycock (bass/vox) and Samuel Drew-Rumoro (drums)
